State Migrant Parent Conference—March 19
The CDE will host the 41st State Migrant Parent Conference virtually on Saturday, March 19, 2022, with the theme, “Literacy for All: Reading Is an Adventure in Any Culture.” The statewide conference is an important component of the Migrant Education Program that connects families and provides resources to help parents recognize meaningful ways to engage in their children's academic success. This year’s keynote speaker is Dolores Huerta, American labor leader and civil rights activist.
